comes from the Greek words “demos”, meaning people, and “kratos” meaning
power; so democracy can be thought of as “power of the people”: a way of governing which depends on the will of the people.

What is a Republic vs a democracy? Republic: “A state
in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected
representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather
than a monarch.” Democracy: “A system of government by the whole
population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through
elected representatives.”

Finally, what is Duh–Mock-Crazy? This is when the power and the will of the people are subverted by those elected officials who use their appointed position of power for personal gain, instead of serving the will of the people who elected the officials to represent their will. If you follow the money, you will see how simple it is.

If you happen to be wealthy enough to entice an elected official to do whatever bidding you desire, then the process of circumventing Democracy occurs. When this process is repeated, the balance of power will shift toward those with the most momentum. Once that happens, it becomes increasingly difficult to shift the momentum back to the of the people.

For example, I had a thought. Remember Flash Mobs? From what I cold tell this is an excellent example of a dynamic and fluid collective effort that can effect change, and then disperse if necessary.
